FSK MODEMS
modems for Allen-Bradley PLC 5
The MARC™ Models 137-001, 137-002 and 148-001 are frequency shift keyed (FSK) Modems for the Allen-Bradley PLC-5 that plug into a single slot of the PLC chassis. The modems communicate with the PLC over a standard RS232 serial port and with other Bell and CCITT compatible modems on standard analog telephone lines, radios or twisted pair wiring. The 137-001 modem provides a single modem connection, the 148-001 provides a dual or redundant modem connection and the 137-002 includes additional controls that make the modem uniquely suited for use with standard voice band radios.
