Miille Applied Research Co., Inc. (MARC™) is a Houston, Texas based custom electronic design and manufacturing company. Our standard product offerings include Protocol Converters, Polling Masters and Modems that are compatible with many popular Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Some products plug directly into the PLC chassis providing an integrated, economic solution for PLC communication problems. Our newest Protocol Converters and Modems are stand alone, DIN rail mounted units that can be used in almost any application.
Other standard product offerings include Remote Terminal Units for use in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and a line of STD bus compatible cards, chassis, power supplies and accessories.
Our custom designs include precision measuring equipment, spread spectrum radio telemetry products, custom machine controllers and many other unique, industrial rated products.
We offer a complete selection of engineering services. Our highly qualified engineers can work with you at any or all stages of product development from the idea thru production. We can start at the beginning to help you define a design approach and write design specifications, We offer fixed price detailed hardware and software designs based on these specifications or specifications you bring to us from another source. Our in house printed circuit board design facilities are used to do the board layouts and design rule checking. The latest computer equipment and programs are used in all phases of design and production in order to provide the best product possible in the shortest amount of time.
Prototype printed circuit boards can be produced in as little as 48 hours after the board design is completed. Our production shop builds prototype and low quantity production boards. Higher production quantities are kited and then sent to another facility for assembly using automated equipment. Our final assembly and test area is used for final QC, installation of the proper firmware, functional test, product burn in. All products are 100% tested prior to shipment.
