Multii-Port™
The Miille Applied Research Co. Multii-Port™ Port Multiplier modules are a family of modules that work with many different protocols. All are DIN rail mountable products, that are used to "clone" a single serial port up to four (4) times. You will order the module with the number of additional "clone" ports that you need. A three port module has two clone ports, a 4 port module has 3 clone ports and a 5 port module has 4. Check the entries below to see additional information for each product.
The XYZ in the part number above is used to specify module options at the time of order.
The "X" in the part number is used to specify the Input Power requirement. A "1" in this position specifies AC power (95 to 250 VAC), a "2" specifies 24VDC, and a "3" selects 12VC.
Likewise, the "Y" position selects the type of connectors that the module will be equipped with for ports P1 thru P4. A "1" selects 9-pin "D" connectors and a "2" selects 9-position, pluggable terminal strips. Connector P5, the Configuration" connector is always a 9-pin "D" connector.
